Clarendon 3 will join 80 other school districts throughout the state to celebrate School Board Recognition Month in January. More than 630 elected and appointed school board members throughout South Carolina will be recognized by schools and communities for their service and dedication to public education.

Clarendon Three Receives Palmetto Gold and Silver Awards

Clarendon School District 3 has received a Palmetto Gold Award and a Palmetto Silver Award from the South Carolina Department of Education for the 2011-2012 school year.

East Clarendon Middle/High School received a gold award for two categories, general performance in grades 6-12 and for closing the achievement gap in grades 6-8.

Walker-Gamble Elementary School received a silver award for general performance.
